Rear axles out ? Or can you just remove driveshaft and ok for dif to be spinning from the axles ?

my 2013 Q5 is 1qt every 450 miles. only 86k on the car

There pinned to the cam. The pin broke in the cam.

The ones you say are ugly I actually like better than the rear ones, I think probably a lot of other ppl would say the same. But as they say, it's in the eye of the beholder.

My 2012 a4 had a similar issue at 177k miles. Symptoms were intermittent starting issues, cheack engine light, and oil pressure light.

Why u don't work on other cars like Japanese vehicles? I know certain cars have it's issues but I find japanese cars usually don't have catastrophic engine faults like with European ones.

This is the absolute worst. All he did plus all the proper steps and itd be a good job. This is just make a video. No cleaning sealing surfaces, used part, no new seals, coolant on the ground and no torqued bolts. Yeah, real profesional......not. 😂

The locking pin broke off I'm guessing. I just finished a timing job that the phaser would randomly not lock in and cam would be +/- 20⁰ out at random

Its not required, but i got tired of breaking connectors like that, so i made some wooden inserts for different sizes with holes for the pins, so when you grab them like that, you won't squish the plastic cause it will be supported by the wood. Just an idea if it helps anyone.

Found my low oil pressure issue in my pan as well. It was an oil squirter laying down there. They’re located way up at the base of te piston cylinder wall.

That happened to me actually, 3 ½ hours from home lol had the front of the car apart on the highway to figure out wth was going on

Could this oil adjuster/phaser cause correlation codes or even a longer crank as the car is not getting the plausible signal please help any chance of going inside of that phaser and seeing what failed im strulling on my 2.0t 2009 with p0016 and thinking its the intake cam shaft any advice ?

That means to check your pvc valve make sure its working good, and look at your pickup tube. Might be debris in the tube resricting oil

It's a cvvt sprocket. It operates on oil pressure. I don't like the new engines that have it. Seems like they fail easily even when engine oil is ok level

I had one that it would stall at normal running temp, and after a minute of cranking, the sprocket would grab the cam again and then it would start. Replaced the intake cam with OEM. It’s been good after a year now.
